Stargate adapts Roland Emmerich's film into a platform shooter with exploration of recreated Egyptian sets. The Game Gear conversion keeps the exotic mood thanks to careful sprites, but action stays repetitive. Pleasant for fans of the movie, without reaching the license genre references.
