A fast-paced Metroidvania with tight controls and excellent movement mechanics. Short but satisfying with a good progression curve. A quality title for genre fans that delivers on its promises without overstaying its welcome.

Hiryu young Strider ninja sent to infiltrate Kazakh City to assassinate Grand Master Meio cyberpunk dictator, semi-open world reproducing Kazakh City in metroidvania freely explorable with backtracking and progressively unlocked zones, 2D action gameplay mixing acrobatic Cypher katana combat, wall parkour and power unlocking, over eight Cypher options like Plasma, Magnet and Cold to unlock for strategic combats, over fifteen signature franchise bosses revisited, HD 2.5D cartoon aesthetic faithful to original arcade, Japanese voice-over with iconic voices, soundtrack by Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White.
