Japan-only, this Super Back to the Future Part II on Super Famicom blends a film license with platforming, a tie-in Toshiba EMI never localized. That lack of a Western release makes it the sole route to the game and earns it niche-import status, where a preserved SFC cardboard box and spine card add cachet. Desirability owes less to its play, which stayed stiff, than to film nostalgia and its Japanese-market exclusivity.
