AiAi and companions are enclosed in transparent spheres that the player guides through suspended platforms by tilting the stage. Stages with varied configurations including platforms, ramps, slopes and teleporters, puzzle and race modes and banana collection for score. Portable version of the Sega arcade game on GBA.

Super Monkey Ball Jr. brings Sega's dexterity game to GBA, where you guide AiAi trapped in a sphere through sloping mazes, tilting the scenery rather than the monkey. The concept of pure gravity and trajectory mastery keeps its immediate fun and its demand, despite a fixed perspective that makes some boards less readable than on console. The multiplayer minigames extend the appeal. For fans of dexterity games and precision challenge, it is an honest and still enjoyable port.
