Super Real Basketball adapts Japanese basketball to Mega Drive with snappy matches and digitized players. The version keeps the arcade spirit and animation fluidity but the AI stays predictable. Pleasant for 16 bit basketball fans, in line with Japanese licensed sports average.

Collector interest

Sega basketball game released in Japan and Korea, in the line of the machine's early sports titles. Its collector interest lies less in the game, a dated arcade basketball, than in the marked rarity of the Korean version from a tiny Mega Drive market. The Korea variant, markedly less common than the Japanese one, is the favoured target of collectors completing the regional editions of Sega's early sports on the console.
