Japanese Banpresto variant of Super Robot Wars EX, PlayStation port of the 1994 SNES mecha tactical RPG. Created by Banpresto, released in 1999 in Japan under the Super Robot Taisen EX title. Grid-based tactical turn-based combat, three intertwined scenarios with different protagonists, mecha saga crossovers including Masou Kishin and Gundam, over seventy playable mecha units and anime rock soundtrack.
