Arcade Edition adds Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu and Oni to an already solid balance. The system reaches a particularly fine competitive equilibrium, online multi turns seriously competitive, and this is probably the best Street Fighter IV to own on 360 without any hesitation.

Is Super Street Fighter IV - Arcade Edition still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2011 on Xbox 360, Capcom's Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter IV adds new fighters and further refined balance, consolidating what remains one of the greatest iterations of the two dimensional fighting game of its generation. The play system, of exemplary accessibility and depth, stays an absolute reference for fans and the competitive scene of the era alike. The stylised art direction and the plentiful roster still appeal. The server shutdown limits the online side. But the local stays excellent. For devotees of technical versus fighting, this edition keeps a strong appeal today.
