Syphon Filter 3 concludes the trilogy with Gabe Logan in narrative retrospection mode. New missions, enriched TPS gameplay and revelations about characters' pasts. A solid concluding franchise entry, slightly below the second entry but satisfying for series fans on PS1.

Is Syphon Filter 3 still worth playing in 2026?

The third entry in Sony Bend's stealth series, Syphon Filter 3 closes the PS1 espionage trilogy with Gabe Logan, between infiltration, gunfights and scripted flashbacks told before a board of inquiry. The variety of weapons, the iconic taser gadget and the tense pace extend a proven formula. The stiff handling, the dated camera and angular 3D have aged against modern standards. A good action stealth game for fans of PS1 espionage thrillers and the Syphon Filter saga.
