Sony Bend tips the image between several optical filters: thermal vision repaints the world in oranges and blues, light amplification bathes it in a grainy green, and normal view then resumes its drenched forests and refineries. Those palette switches serve as visual chaptering.
The writing borrows from the television action serial: a main theme on broad brass, restated at the head of every mission, and orchestral variations keyed to the country being landed in. Percussion stays as regular as a countdown, and the whole embraces a lyricism the series had never displayed so openly.
The plot is built like a file growing thicker: a biological weapon is circulating, and every mission adds a piece without ever handing over the sponsor. Sony Bend moves Gabe Logan through theatres of operation with nothing in common, leaving the player to stitch the threads together between two laconic briefings.
