Story
"Anecdotal"
The game uses digitised images taken from the film, faces, machines, ruined scenery, converted into grainy sprites that contrast with traditional drawing. The first-person view places the player's weapons at the bottom of the screen, and the explosions take a generous surface in an environment dominated by metallic greys.

Cursor locked on screen, you dive into a steel storm where every trigger pull unleashes a hail of bullets. Terminators pour in without mercy, explosions rattle the action, and the thrill comes from raw tension that never lets up. You come back to chase a higher score, to empty clips even faster. Decades on, the frenzy stays sharp and hypnotic.

Is T2 - The Arcade Game still worth playing in 2026?

A rail shooter adapted from the arcade, T2 The Arcade Game has you aim and blast Terminator robots on screen across film sequences, ideally with a light gun. The frantic pace, the profusion of targets and the faithfulness to the movie's cult scenes make it an effective, cathartic on-rails shooter. Repetition sets in fast and pad handling is less thrilling than the light gun. A curiosity for fans of retro rail shooters and Terminator fans after blunt arcade action.
