The game uses digitised images taken from the film, faces, machines, ruined scenery, converted into grainy sprites that contrast with traditional drawing. The first-person view places the player's weapons at the bottom of the screen, and the explosions take a generous surface in an environment dominated by metallic greys.
The accompaniment transposes the film's theme onto the sound chip and works it in dark variations, with metallic percussion and heavy bass. The rest of the soundtrack favours continuous tension over melody, and the silences left before the enemy waves fully take part in the effect.

Repetition sets in fast and pad handling is less thrilling than the light gun. A curiosity for fans of retro rail shooters and Terminator fans after blunt arcade action.
