The Tales crossover sequel pulls from Abyss, Legendia and other entries, and beefs up the guild missions. Bandai Namco polishes the real-time and tribute mix; a shame the release stayed Japanese for this fine Tales hero parade.

Is Tales of the World - Radiant Mythology 2 still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to the Tales crossover from Bandai Namco, Radiant Mythology 2 reuses the action RPG formula by mixing a new Descender with an expanded cast drawn from more series entries. The polished Linear Motion combat system, the character creation and the richness of the fan service strengthen the appeal for fans of the saga. The repetitive quest structure remains the main pitfall. Left in Japan, the title demands the language. For a fan of the Tales series or of crossover action RPGs, the title keeps a snappy combat and a reunion pleasure.
