The Baloo animated series as a Capcom NES action-platformer. Fly a plane through varied and colorful levels. Successful license adaptation. Overlooked but genuinely well-made.

Description
Action platformer featuring Baloo the bear pilot flying cargo deliveries and avoiding pirates. Published by Capcom, released in Europe in 1992. Baloo in side-scrolling view flying his Sea Duck plane, parcels to deliver and pirates to dodge. NES adaptation of the Disney TaleSpin animated series.
The European PAL NES edition of the Capcom Disney horizontal shooter based on the animated series, with a short PAL print and a fragile cardboard box. The PAL cart is one of the Capcom Disney NES PAL titles hard to find complete in clean condition and logically completes the Capcom Disney sub-collection alongside DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale and Darkwing Duck. The cote climbs steadily, sustained by this complete sub-series effect sought in Europe.
Is TaleSpin still worth playing in 2026?
TaleSpin on NES adapts the Disney series into a Capcom action platformer with original horizontal-scrolling flight gameplay. Baloo pilots his seaplane through varied colourful levels, with a free vertical movement system reminiscent of horizontal shooters. The adaptation is high quality, faithful to the series and technically polished. A genuinely recommendable detour today.
