Tatsunoko vs. Capcom - Ultimate All-Stars (Wii) price, value & rarity
Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars, the expanded Western version of Capcom's versus, which adds characters and online play and finally brought this crossover outside Japan after licenses cleared. Pressed in measured volumes, its desirability rests on this status as the sole Western release of a singular versus and a niche demand rather than a general scarcity. A prime piece for fighting-game fans of the console.
An underrated gem
A joyous 2D versus fighter where Tatsunoko's animated heroes cross blades with Capcom's stars, powered by Eighting's craft. The rights to the Tatsunoko licences long held back its release beyond Japan. Accessible yet deep, it will delight fans of fast-paced fighting games and anyone curious about an unlikely crossover.
Better with friends
The definitive version of the fighting crossover where combatants from two worlds team up in pairs for clashes full of swagger. The competition blends quick tags, spectacular combos and reading your opponent, in a snappy, accessible rhythm. The balance sparks debate among experts, but the immediate fun and wild cast make it a festive versus to restart endlessly among friends.
Is Tatsunoko vs. Capcom - Ultimate All-Stars still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2008 in Japan then 2010 internationally on Wii, Capcom's project pits the heroes of Tatsunoko animation against the studio's own characters in a two character team fighting game of delightful nervousness. The system of spectacular aerial combos, the tag switches and the assist attacks make for a fight accessible yet deep, enhanced by three dimensional characters rendered in a cartoon style. The international Ultimate All-Stars version expands the roster and adds online play, since closed. The singular crossover and the frantic pace appeal. An excellent fighting game, recommended for fans of nervous versus and of crossover.
