A Sega platformer, Taz in Escape from Mars has the Tasmanian Devil flee the red planet by spinning through colorful, inventive levels, a more accomplished sequel to Taz-Mania. The spin attack, the cartoon humor and the careful art direction make it a pleasant, well-paced mascot platformer. The difficulty stays measured and the length decent. A nice pick for fans of retro cartoon platforming and Looney Tunes nostalgics on the Mega Drive.
