Taz devours everything in his path in this energetic platformer. Character animations are delightful, pace is sustained. A licensed game that does its character justice.

Is Taz-Mania still worth playing in 2026?

A platformer from Sega drawn from the animated series, Taz-Mania runs the Tasmanian devil through zones of his native island, devouring everything in his path in a whirl of gluttony. The cartoon humour, the character's speed and the colourful production give a likeable platformer, even if the gameplay stays basic and the difficulty uneven. The charm lies mostly in the licence and Taz's energy. For a retro platforming fan, a Looney Tunes fan or someone curious about animated adaptations on 8 bit, the title keeps a comic character and a light entertainment.
