Collector interest
Tecmo's officially licensed NBA simulation, with real teams and players, released on the NES in 1992 as US sports were migrating to the Super NES. Tecmo's engine, well regarded for its NES sports titles, gives the game genuine identity, but its late arrival keeps collector interest centered on loose carts. The sealed-new spike reflects scarcity of preserved end-of-cycle copies rather than any strong aura.
