Game Boy TMNT/TMHT sequel. More elaborate levels, varied enemies, beefed-up Shredder. Harder and more ambitious than Fall of the Foot Clan, but the formula wears out fast and the GB engine doesn't always keep up. For die-hard portable Konami fans; otherwise the first stays more approachable.

Collector interest

European edition of Konami's Game Boy Ninja Turtles sequel. The strong Q6 and the steep jump in complete price (CIB far above loose) point to genuine scarcity of surviving PAL boxes, a children's licence where packaging rarely lasted. TMHT's early-90s popularity keeps demand steady, and the European pressing, scarcer than the North American one, makes this the more interesting variant of the handheld instalment.

Is Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles II - Back from the Sewers still worth playing in 2026?

The Game Boy sequel to the Ninja Turtles from Konami, Back from the Sewers expands the first game's formula with more elaborate levels, new combat mechanics and the pursuit of Shredder. The four turtles stay playable with their quirks, and the staging gains variety and ambition. The richer handling and the polished level design fix part of the original's limits. For a Turtles fan or a lover of portable beat them ups, this sequel stays the most accomplished on the machine and still enjoyable.
