Konami TMNT beat 'em up, more generous than the first outing. Four playable turtles, local co-op and stages paying homage to the cartoon. Basic mechanics but a real family vent. Pleasant without rivalling the 1990s arcade classics.

Is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - Battle Nexus still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2004, this second Konami entry extends the four player co op beat them up formula and adds more techniques, levels and the Battle Nexus tournament. The progression gains content and the variety of situations grows over the first game. The art direction stays faithful to the animated series. The sometimes poorly calibrated difficulty and the repetition of certain clashes weigh, yet fans of co op brawling and of the Turtles find a more generous sequel, built for multiplayer evenings.
