The Japanese Famicom version of TMNT 2 - The Manhattan Project (aka TMNT III in the West), Japan-exclusive on original cartridge. The Japanese cart is markedly rarer boxed than the US NES version and is part of the Konami Turtles catalogue now reissued in 'The Cowabunga Collection'. Intact boxed CIB with cardboard sleeve and manual is valued for closing out the Konami Turtles Famicom collection, and the cote climbs steadily.

Is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - The Manhattan Project still worth playing in 2026?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - The Manhattan Project, sometimes labeled TMNT 2 in some markets, is Konami's third NES TMNT and one of the console's best beat 'em ups. Four playable turtles, special attacks, varied levels and explosive co-op make the saga peak in 8-bit. Precise controls, memorable soundtrack and Konami's staging at its best. An absolute classic to bring out today.
