Third Turtles brawler, more of the same. Simple combat, decent levels, four-player co-op. The formula is wearing thin but still fun with friends for a few hours of relaxed mayhem.

Is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 - Mutant Nightmare still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2005, this third Konami entry refines the co op beat them up formula by adding vehicle phases and new gadgets for the four turtles. The pace stays that of an accessible brawl, punctuated by boss fights inspired by the animated series. The art direction faithful to the cartoons still works. The lack of renewal against the two previous episodes and a certain repetition show, yet fans of multiplayer brawling and of the Turtles find a pleasant conclusion to this GameCube trilogy.
