The US NES release of the Western Konami version (a different game from the Japanese Famicom 'TMNT 2'), published in 1992 at the end of the NES cycle. The loose grey US NES cart stays accessible, but CIB in an intact box with manual is rare and valued by US Konami collectors. The 'Cowabunga Collection' reissue has not disturbed the physical cote, and graded sealed prices climb steadily, sustained by end-of-cycle physical scarcity.

Is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - The Manhattan Project still worth playing in 2026?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - The Manhattan Project, sometimes labeled TMNT 2 in some markets, is Konami's third NES TMNT and one of the console's best beat 'em ups. Four playable turtles, special attacks, varied levels and explosive co-op make the saga peak in 8-bit. Precise controls, memorable soundtrack and Konami's staging at its best. An absolute classic to bring out today.
