Namco offer a robust Tekken 6 with a massive roster and a quite pleasant Campaign adventure mode. The fighting remains among the market's most precise, online play holds up well, and the 360 receives a great 3D versus despite some technical compromises against the PS3 version.

Collector interest

North American (NTSC-U) edition of Tekken 6, an entry of Namco's 3D fighting game that closes a long narrative arc and expands the roster, the home series' first appearance on the console. Still common across North America, its collector interest rests on this status as a 3D-versus reference entry rather than scarcity. A piece valued by fighting-game fans of the console, accessible and solid for those collecting the Tekken line.

Better with friends

A pillar of 3D fighting, whose wealth of moves and depth of matchups reward the investment with duels of rare intensity. The competition rests on sidesteps, precise punishes and reading your opponent, accessible on the surface yet inexhaustible in mastery. Local versus stays its home turf, perfect for evenings where rivalry sharpens endlessly.

Is Tekken 6 still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2009 on Xbox 360, Namco's Tekken 6 brings the legendary three dimensional fighting series to the console, with a plentiful roster and a play system of formidable depth. The precision of movement, the richness of combos and the nervy pace of the clashes reward diligent study. The top down Scenario Campaign mode divides but fleshes out the solo content. The server shutdown limits the online side. But the local and training stay excellent. For fans of three dimensional versus fighting and devotees of technical combat, this title keeps a strong appeal today.
