PAL version of Tenchu 2 Birth of the Stealth Assassins, released by Activision, a prequel sequel to the founding ninja-stealth game with three playable characters and a mission editor. Well received, it stayed common in Europe, where loose and CIB remain affordable. The gap sits on sealed PAL stock, now scarce, which alone lifts the price without signaling rare underlying demand.

Is Tenchu 2 - Birth of the Stealth Assassins still worth playing in 2026?

A prequel to Acquire's stealth game, Tenchu 2 has you play ninjas in a nocturnal feudal Japan, where you must advance in the shadows, take out your targets with a stealth kill and avoid detection thanks to traditional gadgets. The tension of the silent approach, the level freedom and the mission editor enrich a genre pioneering formula. The fickle camera and angular 3D have aged. An excellent stealth game for fans of ninjas and demanding stealth with a Japanese atmosphere.
