The Terminator adapts the James Cameron film to Mega CD with its killer robot in dystopian Los Angeles. The CD version adds film cinematics and orchestral soundtrack compared to the Mega Drive in dark platform action. Pleasant for film fans.

Description
Mega CD adaptation of The Terminator with enhanced video scenes. Published by Virgin Interactive, released in 1993. Shooting platformer, film-faithful levels, robotic enemies and CD soundtrack. European and American versions.
Virgin's Sega CD take on Cameron's film stands apart from the Mega Drive build through film-sourced cutscenes and an orchestral score. Arriving late on an already marginal American format, it shipped in modest numbers, which drives the steep complete prices seen today. The cardboard long-box of early Sega CD runs is the detail North American collectors chase, since later releases moved to plastic and many surviving copies lost that original outer packaging.
