The first Terminator film's tie-in. Flat action, repetitive enemies, sloppy hitboxes. Presentation tries to echo the film's grim tone but the cartridge frustrates quickly. For forgiving curiosity only.

Collector interest

Mindscape's The Terminator ranks among the most sought-after NES adaptations because of its very small print run, with loose and complete prices sitting well above the average licensed title. Released in both North America and Europe in 1992, it landed at the very end of the commercial cycle, which explains its broad scarcity on both markets. The PAL version remains the harder to locate, while the NTSC edition drives most of the documented trades.
