A puzzle game from Ubisoft, Tetris Ultimate offers a take on the famous piece stacking puzzle, where you align blocks to clear lines, across several game modes and a multiplayer strand. The timeless efficiency of the concept, the immediacy of the pleasure and the variety of rules appeal to all audiences. This edition was, however, criticised for technical issues and a content judged stingy given the asked price. For a puzzle fan or a player after a fast, snappy challenge, the title keeps Tetris's addiction intact, despite an improvable production.
