Theme Park is one of the few Bullfrog management sims to reach Mega CD, and on this hardware it stayed strictly European, never appearing on American Sega CD. The CD build adds music and sequences missing from the cartridge, but it is the PAL exclusivity and Europe's small Mega CD base that make complete copies scarce. The four languages pressed onto a single disc tie the release to EA's pan-European distribution and explain why sealed and complete prices climbed sharply.

A management sim from Bullfrog, Theme Park entrusts the player with creating and running an amusement park, from the layout of paths to the price of fries, by way of ride design and visitor satisfaction. The balance between building, economy and English humor stays pleasant and surprisingly rich, in the line of the studio's great management games. The interface and legibility have aged on console. An estimable pick for fans of retro management sims and Bullfrog lovers.
