Time Killers adapts the Strata arcade fighting to Mega Drive with warriors crossing eras and graphic dismemberment. The conversion keeps the violent spirit and weapon themed special moves but animation stays rigid. A curiosity for 16 bit gore fighting fans, original in the temporal concept.

Collector interest

European PAL edition of Time Killers, a fighter slammed for over-the-top gore yet collectible for exactly that reason. Released late, in 1996, by THQ as the Mega Drive faded in Europe, its tiny PAL run makes it markedly harder to find complete than the US version. Its infamous reputation and late scarcity explain a complete value far above its score.
