Collector interest

The Super Famicom version of the Timecop movie tie-in, a late Japanese release from the end of 1995 for a Hollywood license with little presence in Japan. The SFC cardboard box and original spine card are the main draw: the complete Japanese copy speaks above all to the fan of cult late-life SNES imports and to the collector of Western film tie-ins issued in Japan. A niche title with a middling adaptation, its appeal rests on the intact SFC packaging and the late release context more than on its gameplay merits.
