TimeShift offers an FPS with genuinely interesting time-manipulation mechanics. The result is honest, occasionally excellent at its peaks, but the writing and polish really cap the potential. A TPS curiosity worth a try.

Is TimeShift still worth playing in 2026?

An FPS from Saber Interactive, TimeShift stands out with its mastery of time: a suit lets you slow, stop or rewind the flow of seconds to clear obstacles, disarm enemies or dodge shots. The well integrated time mechanic and its tactical use in combat make all the title's interest. The conventional plot and a sometimes ordinary level design temper the whole. A good FPS for fans of shooters with an original mechanic and time manipulation in the heat of combat.
