Story
"Anecdotal"
Konami transposes its cast of schoolgirls into a frankly caricatural register: reduced proportions, exaggerated expressions, poses of dismay or triumph redrawn for every game situation. The board keeps an absolute clarity, pieces in well separated colours, so that the constant agitation at the sides never hinders reading it.

Dropping balls and triggering chains to bury your opponent: this competitive puzzle borrows its charming characters from the famous dating-sim series. The clear mechanic and the versus tension hook at once, especially in a group. Colourful, accessible and full of personality, a gleeful action puzzle ideal for frantic duels with friends.

Is Tokimeki Memorial Taisen Puzzledama still worth playing in 2026?

A versus puzzle from Konami, Tokimeki Memorial Taisen Puzzledama transposes the characters of the famous dating sim Tokimeki Memorial into a falling coloured gem game where you group them to overwhelm the opponent. The snappy chain system, the licence fan service skin and the immediate accessibility make a festive, addictive versus, in the vein of the publisher's competitive puzzles. Left in Japan, the title needs little text. For a fan of competitive puzzling or of Tokimeki Memorial, the title keeps a direct effectiveness, especially in twos.
