Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero returns to classic highway night racing. Health-bar duels, neon-lit Wangan and tuning. Solid if a bit aged, best savoured at night.

Is Tokyo Xtreme Racer - Zero still worth playing in 2026?

An emblematic entry in Genki's series, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero plunges the player into nocturnal urban highway duels, challenging hundreds of rivals in pursuit races governed by a life gauge that drains when you fall behind. The sense of speed, the deep mechanical tuning and the collection of rivals to topple create an addictive loop. The modest production weighs little against the joy of the chase. An excellent racing game for fans of tuning and nocturnal urban duels.
