The stronger of the two Vegas entries. Improved customization and enhanced co-op. The better choice between the two for most players. A solid tactical experience that has aged but remains enjoyable for genre fans.

The sequel leaves the Strip to show the other side of the set. The fights spread to the districts postcards ignore, an unfinished tower site, a refinery, a hilltop villa, a convention center, ordinary suburbs crushed by sun. Vegas stops being a neon backdrop to become a complete conurbation, with its service zones and its backyards. The art direction maps the real city behind the shop window.
The culminating sound is that of the breach. The charge stuck on the door, the blast tearing off the panel, the flashbang whose whistle suspends everything, the cries of disoriented occupants, then the dry bursts in the smoke: each assault condenses into three seconds a sonic storm repeated mission after mission. The soundtrack makes this forced entry the game's refrain, awaited, prepared, always deafening.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Vegas 2 (PS3) price, value & rarity
A sequel to Rainbow Six Vegas refining elite-unit tactical assault with character progression and polished co-op, one of the peaks of squad shooting in this generation. Its edition covering the American and Asian markets stays less common than the major Western runs. Its interest owes to this status as a reference of the genre and to the relative scarcity of a regional pressing within a followed Tom Clancy catalog.
