Collector interest

North American (NTSC-U) edition of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, an Ubisoft tactical shooter praised for its balance of action and stealth and its careful co-op, a valued entry of the military line. Still common across North America, its collector interest is modest, its desirability resting on this status as a reference of living-room tactical shooting rather than scarcity. A piece valued for a shooter set on the console, sought by genre fans.

Better with friends

A tactical shooter where co-op and planning trump reflex, each assault prepped as a team before tipping into action. Mutual aid is essential: covering angles, syncing the entry and communicating averts a bloodbath and brings a craftsman's satisfaction. The original online leans on uncertain servers, but the shared tactical spirit keeps a rare tension and intelligence.

Is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Vegas 2 still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2008 on Xbox 360, Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 extends the series' excellent tactical shooting into a Las Vegas gripped by terrorism, blending nervy action and measured planning. The cover system, squad command and the considered approach to assaults reward tactics as much as reflexes. The polished co op mode and multiplayer were a pillar of the experience. The server shutdown cuts that aspect. But the local co op campaign stays solid. For fans of team tactical shooting and the nostalgic for the era's Rainbow Six, this title keeps a strong appeal today.
