Is Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced still worth playing in 2026?

A vertical shooter from Warashi, Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced stands out for its anchor system that lets you grab enemies to swing them around and hurl them as shields or projectiles at other attackers. This original mechanic, blended with polished bullet hell and a female mecha aesthetic, makes it an atypical shmup appreciated by connoisseurs. The high difficulty and a niche genre reserve access for enthusiasts. A gem for fans of vertical shooting and original shooting mechanics.
