The third entry in Electronic Arts' Strike trilogy on SNES, this European PAL edition moves the action into urban settings, with on-foot sequences new to the series. The smaller PAL install base and the shorter run of this final chapter make it scarcer than the Desert and Jungle Strike titles that preceded it on the continent. The multilingual manual and a complete, non-warped cardboard box are the criteria that separate a collector copy from a plain cart.
Is Urban Strike still worth playing in 2026?
The third entry in Electronic Arts' Strike series, Urban Strike extends the top down helicopter strategic action by adding indoor on foot sections and a futuristic urban war story. The tactical pace, the fuel and ammo management and the variety of objectives stay the series' hallmark. The high difficulty and a formula running slightly out of breath make themselves felt. A good action strategy for fans of helicopter missions and of the Strike trilogy.
