Capcom monster character versus fighter, quality Saturn port. Animation is extraordinary for the era, characters are iconic. Satisfying Chain Combo system. A versus fighting classic still very enjoyable.

Story

A gothic universe peopled with cartoon monsters, the game blends horror and humour in an elastic, colourful line. Exuberant animation and unbridled character design give every creature an unforgettable presence. This graphic madness, baroque and jubilant, remains one of Capcom's finest 2D signatures.

Collector interest

Original Japanese Saturn edition of Vampire Hunter Darkstalkers' Revenge, distributed by Capcom in February 1996 with the 1M tag, a Darkstalkers 2 arcade conversion that relies on the 1 MB RAM expansion cartridge for animation fidelity. Capcom Japan run was short, jewel case with intact obi and dedicated 1 MB cart, and Darkstalkers 2's founding position in the Vampire sub franchise makes for Capcom 2D enthusiasts a complete with obi copy a central archive object. Sought after.

Better with friends

A gothic 2D fighter of inimitable style, where a roster of charismatic monsters clashes in fast exchanges loaded with chain combos. The competition rewards controlled aggression and jump reads, each character offering a distinctive playstyle that invites experimentation. Flamboyant and snappy, it chains stylish duels and feeds rivalries where you want to try them all.
