WarioWare Twisted on GBA, WarioWare with a gyroscope built into the cartridge. Tilt the GBA to play, unique revolutionary concept. Even crazier and more inventive than the classic edition. An absolute must.

Ever more unhinged, this entry keeps its patchwork of zany styles while playing on the rotation of the console. Raw pixels, absurd collages and frenzied animation chain together at a mad pace. This anarchic, hilarious graphic extravagance extends the series' inimitable identity.

Collector interest

English edition of WarioWare Twisted distributed by Nintendo in the US and Australia in May 2005, the Western version of the Japanese Mawaru Made in Wario, which embeds a physical gyroscope sensor inside the cartridge shell. Europe never received an official run because of the integrated mercury battery, which leaves the USA and AUS version as the only legal English speaking entry point. North American cardboard box is sturdier than the PAL standard, complete with working gyro particularly valued.

Is WarioWare - Twisted! still worth playing in 2026?

Mawaru Made in Wario, or WarioWare Twisted, never made it to Europe, most likely because of the gyroscope built into its cartridge. The concept turns everything into rotation of the GBA, and the result is still one of the most singular WarioWare ever produced. The microgames breathe a rare tactile freshness, and the cartridge itself includes an expansion board packed with bonus content. A prized collector piece for anyone fond of out of the ordinary experiences and the Wario team's inventiveness.
