Collector interest

Rockstar's adaptation of the cult film The Warriors, a beat-em-up following a gang fleeing across a stylized nighttime New York, praised for its faithfulness and atmosphere. Still common in the West, its interest lies in this successful marriage of cult cinema and Rockstar craft rather than scarcity. A piece prized by fans of retro urban action.

Better with friends

A street brawl drawn from a cult film, where two gang members clear the alleys of a hostile city with furious combos. The cooperation is a treat: covering each other, grabbing an enemy together and coordinating the scraps gives a real sense of a tight crew. Brutal and immersive, it chains street clashes and shared moments of tension, perfect for living a nighttime ride in tandem.

Is Warriors, The still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2005 on PS2, Rockstar Toronto's project adapts the cult 1979 film into a street brawler of remarkable fidelity and energy. The crossing of a nocturnal, hostile New York, the gang mechanic where you command your fellows and the rhythmic brawls perfectly capture the spirit of the film. The prequel mode, recounting the gang's rise before the events of the movie, richly fleshes out the adventure. The repetition of the fights and a dated production make themselves felt. A passionate and polished adaptation, recommended for fans of urban brawling and for curious cinephiles.
