Over eight 3D anti-gravity tracks, over eight upgradable F7200 League ships, minimalist design by The Designers Republic, split-screen two-player versus mode and electronica soundtrack by The Chemical Brothers and Sasha. American and Japanese edition under the Wipeout 3 title.
The third Wipeout, which further pares down The Designers Republic art direction and brings anti-gravity racing to a peak of elegant minimalism, sometimes stylized Wip3out or offered as a Special Edition. Still fairly widespread in the West, its interest lies in this accomplished aesthetic rather than scarcity. A prime piece for fans of design and fast end-of-generation racing.
