Is Wolf Fang - Kuuga 2001 still worth playing in 2026?

A port of Data East's arcade run and gun, Wolf Fang has you pilot a customisable mecha through 2D arenas packed with enemies, with an assembly system for the machine that adds real depth to the action. The snappy pace, the readable shooting and the option to configure your robot before each mission win over genre fans. The arcade derived production and the Japan exclusivity limit access. A solid mecha run and gun for fans of 2D action and old fashioned snappy shooting.
