Jet entry, faster and more accessible than its predecessors. Fun roster and colourful stages. The most immediate entry of the classic trilogy, genuinely pleasant.

ADK Japanese November 1994 edition of the Neo Geo CD port of World Heroes 2 Jet, a beefed-up version of World Heroes 2 with an expanded roster and a new combo system. The Japanese CD cartridge offers additional cinematics for the new characters, a CD-port exclusivity compared to the MVS board and the AES cartridge. This Japanese Jet version is scarcer than the World Heroes 2 run and remains the target of import-minded ADK fighter enthusiasts documenting the Jet branch.
Better with friends
An accelerated version of the historical-heroes fighter, faster and denser, energizing the duels with new combatants. The competition gains snap: speed changes the equation and rewards reflexes as much as reads. Readable and fun, it suits long versus evenings where you chain rounds, and rivalry flares as everyone gets a better grip on their favorite character.
Is World Heroes 2 Jet still worth playing in 2026?
World Heroes 2 Jet is the fastest and most approachable entry in the series' classical trilogy. The roster keeps its colour, stages gain pep and the overall speed makes duels feel more immediate. Without reaching the depth of the great SNK and Capcom fighters of the period, it is the series' most immediate and festive entry, especially convincing in local multiplayer. On Neo Geo CD, the CD soundtrack enriches the mood. The best entry point to the franchise today.
