Turn based strategy from Team17, Worms pits squads of earthworms armed to the teeth on destructible terrain, where you calculate angles and power to pulverise the opponent with bazookas and exploding sheep. The absurd humour, the wild arsenal and the local multiplayer make it a fiercely convivial party game, still very funny today. The 16 bit version stays technically modest. A classic of offbeat strategy for fans of duels among friends.
