WWE 2K16 fixes its predecessor's shortcomings with an enormous roster of over 120 superstars and enriched game modes. Gameplay remains solid and the Steve Austin Showcase is very well designed. One of the best 2K series entries.

A monumental roster and some of the deepest creation tools in the series turn this year into an inexhaustible sandbox. Assembling your wrestlers, writing storylines and testing yourself against others online piles up the sessions, and this entry is often named one of the era's high points for the generosity of its content on this console.
The American and Korean version of 2K Sports' WWE 2K16, a late edition of the wrestling sim on the console, touted for its huge roster. Its collector interest is low: an annual entry soon supplanted, sought mainly for this Korean pressing of a sports-entertainment license. A niche piece for collectors of Korean editions of wrestling games.
