Is WWF SmackDown! still worth playing in 2026?

A wrestling game from Yuke's and THQ, WWF SmackDown! imposes a snappy pace and immediate handling that cut against the heaviness of rival productions, laying the foundations of a long cult series. The fluid combat system, the show mood and the addictive season mode make it a great arcade grappling game. The end of generation 3D and content still finding its feet place it a notch below its sequels. An excellent wrestling game for fans of festive multiplayer action and of the period WWF.
