Spanish release of X-Men Legends II, direct Raven Software sequel. More heroes, sharper mechanics and a crossover story with the villains. Four-player local co-op still royal. Arguably the best X-Men formula of the era. Recommended to fans.

Rise of Apocalypse unites mutant heroes and villains in an ever more flamboyant cooperative action-RPG: X-Men and Brotherhood side by side, dazzling powers and exotic environments, from the Savage Land jungle to Apocalypse's fortresses. The art direction pushes the comic-book readability and the spectacle of the group clashes. A generous art direction, true to the Marvel spirit.
The orchestral soundtrack raises the sub-series' epic tone: heroic brass, dramatic swells and themes that underline the titanic clash against Apocalypse. The music cements the comic-book scope while pacing the mutant team's progress. A grandiose, unifying accompaniment, built for the cooperative Marvel epic.
Is X-Men Legends II - Rise of Apocalypse still worth playing in 2026?
X-Men Legends II - Rise of Apocalypse is a cooperative action-RPG in which you build a team mixing X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants to face Apocalypse. The power progression, the loot and up-to-four play make it an absorbing experience, especially in same-screen co-op. The repetitive hack and slash structure and dated presentation weigh a little, but the effectiveness of the system holds firm. For fans of the X-Men and of multiplayer action RPGs, it is a safe bet, here in a Spanish version.
