An underrated gem

An isometric 3D puzzler as original as it is nerve-racking: you roll dice across a grid suspended over the void to align their faces, with the threat of falling ever-present. Released with no fanfare, it never enjoyed the spotlight of the genre's giants. Its clever concept and mounting tension make it a gem for fans of high-pressure brain-teasers.

Is XI [sai] Jumbo still worth playing in 2026?

An expanded variant of the Sony puzzle known as Devil Dice, XI Jumbo fleshes out the concept of matching dice on a grid with new modes, giant dice and fresh rules that renew the rolling mechanic. The strategic depth and the snappy fun of the original game are preserved and even amplified in multiplayer. The modest production and the Japan exclusivity limit distribution. A clever, demanding puzzle for fans of scoring thinkers and the curious about Japanese variants of Devil Dice.
