The Red Cat Corps half of the Blasters action spin-off launched in the United States in September 2018 under the dual-version model inherited from Pokémon. This side grants access to the feline fighter camp and to exclusive recruitable Yo-Kai, a structure built to encourage trading and the purchase of both carts. Localised late by Nintendo of America for an already declining franchise, its limited NTSC-U run explains a price higher than its modest exposure suggests.

An action spin off of the Yokai series, Blasters swaps turn based combat for real time fights where a Yokai squad hunts colossal bosses in co-op for up to four players. Released in twin versions, the title bets on snappiness, complementary roles and gear collecting, in a format of short, replayable missions. The depth stays modest but the co-op pleasure works well. For a Yokai fan after action or a fan of multiplayer boss hunting, the title keeps a likeable dynamism.
