Konami remaster Zone of the Enders and Anubis into an HD collection signed Yoji Shinkawa. The flying mechs remain a pad-pleasing delight, the synthwave score still hits, and it is a rare chance to rediscover a cult saga with an industrial design both elegant and original.

Is Zone of the Enders - HD Edition still worth playing in 2026?

A compilation from Kojima Productions, Zone of the Enders HD Collection gathers both entries of the series in high definition, blending agile mecha piloting and snappy aerial combat carried by a sharp anime art direction. The sense of speed, the fluidity of the clashes and the melancholic mood stay exhilarating, especially in the second entry. Some technical port issues and a short length weigh. A striking compilation for fans of fast mecha action and stylish Japanese science fiction.
