Description
First entry of the cult arcade aerial combat series that turns dogfighting into pure adrenaline. Flight simulation by Namco, released in 1995 in Japan and the United States, then in 1996 in Europe. Thirty missions, several licensed aircraft and branching campaign. Known internationally as Air Combat.
The first chapter of Namco's saga, sold in Japan under the name that would later go global while the West got the Air Combat title. Owning the birth certificate of an arcade-flight franchise still active today gives this edition genuine point-of-origin value. Released in 1995, before the PlayStation took off commercially, it circulated in limited runs whose complete, working copies are steadily thinning out.
